The data controller responsible for the processing of personal data through the website Zdeněk Mikšík – Pinhole Photography, available at miksik.net, is Zdeněk Mikšík, who operates this website as a private individual.

If you have any questions about the processing of your personal data, you can contact me using the contact form.

2. Information Submitted Through the Contact Form

When you contact me through the contact form, I process the information you provide, in particular your name, email address and the content of your message.

I use this information only to respond to your enquiry and for any necessary follow-up communication.

The legal basis for processing is my legitimate interest in responding to messages and communicating with website visitors. If your enquiry concerns steps taken at your request before entering into a contract, processing may also be necessary for that purpose.

Providing this information is voluntary. However, without the information needed to respond, I may not be able to deal with your enquiry.

3. Data Retention

Messages submitted through the contact form are delivered by email. The version of WPForms Lite used on this website does not store submitted messages as entries in the WordPress database.

I retain messages in my email inbox only for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry and any related communication. I then delete them unless there is another legitimate reason to retain them.

Technical web hosting logs may be retained in accordance with the hosting provider’s terms and for as long as necessary to operate and secure the website.

4. Recipients of Personal Data

Where necessary, personal data may be accessed by the web hosting provider and the email service provider, which support the operation of the website and the delivery of messages.

I do not sell personal data or use it to send marketing messages.

5. Cookies and Technical Data

The website uses the Polylang plugin to provide Czech and English language versions. It may store a technical cookie named pll_language, which remembers the selected language.

According to the website’s current configuration, it does not use analytics tools such as Google Analytics or embed videos, maps or social media posts.

The web hosting provider may process technical data during normal operation, such as IP addresses and server request logs, particularly to maintain and secure the website.

6. Your Rights

Under applicable data protection law, you have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification or erasure and, where applicable, restriction of processing. Where processing is based on legitimate interests, you may also have the right to object under the conditions set out in the law.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection: https://uoou.gov.cz/.

You can submit requests using the contact form on this website.
